The Noida Metro Rail Corporation has approved a project to build a new metro line in the region. People can easily reach Noida from Delhi and Ghaziabad.
NMRC approves Aqua Line extension in Greater Noida West: On Monday, the NMRC approved the project to extend metro connectivity in Greater Noida West. This project will have 11 stations from Sector 51 (Noida) to Noida Park V (Greater Noida). The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation was entrusted with the task of preparing the modified report.
People to benefit from metro connectivity: The residents of Greater Noida West are hopeful of getting relief from this project, as they have been demanding metro connectivity for a long time. NMRC Managing Director Lokes M. said that this project will provide convenience to travelers in Noida, Greater Noida West, and Greater Noida through the Noida-Greater Noida Link Road. It will also reduce traffic congestion on the roads.
Interchange between Aqua Line and Delhi Metro: Lokes M. said that the Noida Sector 61 station will serve as an interchange between the Aqua Line and DMRC’s Blue Line. He said that the DPR will be sent to the Uttar Pradesh government and the Center for approval. According to the report, the total estimated cost of this 17.43 km long project is Rs 2,991.60 crore.
New stations to be developed: Initially, a plan was made to construct a foot overbridge to connect Sector 51 and Sector 52 stations. There were supposed to be 9 stations in this plan, however, NMRC stated that the bridge would not provide a permanent solution to the problem of passenger inconvenience due to a distance of 430 meters between the two stations. This project will cover Noida Sector 61, Noida Sector 70, Noida Sector 122, Noida Sector 123, Greater Noida Sector 4, Ecotech 12, Greater Noida Sector 2, Greater Noida Sector 3, Greater Noida Sector 10, Greater Noida Sector 12, and Noida Park V.
ग्रेटर नोएडा वेस्ट में मेट्रो कनेक्टिविटी की परेशानी दूर हो रही है। नोएडा मेट्रो ट्रेन कॉर्पोरेशन ने ग्रेटर नोएडा वेस्ट में एक नई मेट्रो लाइन की परियोजना को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस परियोजना में मौजूदा सेक्टर 51 से नॉलेज पार्क V तक 11 स्टेशन होंगे। इससे ग्रेटर नोएडा वेस्ट के निवासियों को मेट्रो कनेक्टिविटी मिलेगी और सड़कों पर ट्रैफिक भी कम होगा। परियोजना की कुल लागत 2,991.60 करोड़ रुपये है।
