Delhi Metro: Good news for the people of Noida and Greater Noida as the preparation for a major interchange at Sector-142 station is soon to be completed. This will provide direct connectivity not only to Greater Noida but also to Delhi. From there, commuters will be able to take the Aqua Line all the way to Botanical Garden Metro Station, where they can also access the Blue Line and Magenta Line. The detailed project report (DPR) for the modified metro route from Sector-142 interchange station to Botanical Garden is also expected to be ready soon, ensuring no delays due to funding issues. This DPR is being prepared by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for the Noida Metro.
Fee Collected by NMRC
According to an official from NMRC, the necessary fees have been collected and the DPR is soon to be received. Once received, further work will commence. After the DPR is received, it will be sent to the state government by NMRC. The 11.5 km long route will have eight stations, connecting Sector-142, Sector-125, Sector-97, Sector-98, and Sector-91 to Botanical Garden. The officials are making efforts to provide equal services to more areas.
Benefits of Connectivity
This route will not only benefit the people of Greater Noida and Noida, but also the residents of Delhi. Connectivity will be faster and a new interchange station for the metro line will be built. Currently, it is quite inconvenient for people to travel from Greater Noida to Botanical Garden. However, with this new route, the journey will become easier. There will be no difficulty in traveling between Greater Noida and Noida. Commuters will be able to access regular metro services on this route.
