Vande Bharat Express, also known as Train 18, is set to receive another train that will run between Prayagraj and New Delhi. The junction is being decorated to welcome the train, which is dedicated to women’s empowerment and will be managed by female railway employees. The train will operate from platform number six, and both the locomotive pilot and train manager will be female railway workers.

The train will be welcomed with cultural programs, and staff and passengers will be given flowers, chocolates, and more.
MP Keshari Devi Patel, Dr. Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, MLA Harshvardhan Bajpai, and the General Manager of North Central Railways, Satish Kumar, will hoist the green flag for the train. Around 100 school children, parents, respected citizens, public representatives, and officials will become witnesses to the first journey of the new Vande Bharat.
On the first day, all passengers will be given free passes and will experience the journey of Vande Bharat. They will return to Kanpur on another special train. Some others will go to New Delhi and return from there on a 10-coach special train.
On Sunday, DRM Himanshu Badoni said during a conversation with journalists at the divisional railway manager’s office that children will be familiarized with the features and experience of the first semi-high-speed Vande Bharat through the journey. CPRO Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay said that regular train services of Vande Bharat will commence from Wednesday, December 20.
The ADRM Sanjay Singh informed that Vande Bharat will reach Prayagraj Junction at 3:50 pm. On the first day, it will run as a special train. The train will also halt at Etawah, Tundla, and Aligarh railway stations on December 18. The blue and white Vande Bharat will depart from Varanasi at 2:15 pm, reach Prayagraj at 3:50 pm, Kanpur at 6 pm, Etawah at 7:30 pm, Tundla at 8:35 pm, and Aligarh at 9:40 pm. The train will have a 15-minute stopover at Prayagraj and Kanpur, and a 10-minute stopover at other stations. The final stop will be New Delhi.
सोमवार से प्रयागराज को एक और नई वंदे भारत मिलने जा रही है। इस ट्रेन का सवागत करने के लिए जंक्शन को सजाया जा रहा है। यह ट्रेन महिला सशक्तिकरण को समर्पित होगी और महिला रेलकर्मी ट्रेन प्रबंधक की भूमिका निभाएगी। ट्रेन का परिचालन प्लेटफार्म संख्या छह से होगा और न्यू भाऊपुर से मालगाड़ी की लोको पायलट और ट्रेन मैनेजर दोनों महिला रेलकर्मी होंगी। वंदे भारत की खूबसूरती को देखने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी वाराणसी में हरी झंडी दिखाएंगे और फिर ट्रेन को प्रयागराज जंक्शन के लिए रवाना करेंगे। इस अवसर पर स्वागत कार्यक्रम के बीच स्टाफ और यात्रियों को फूल, चॉकलेट आदि दिए जाएंगे। इसके साथ ही, जंक्शन से करीब 100 स्कूली बच्चे, अभिभावक, नागरिक, जन प्रतिनिधि, अधिकारी नई वंदे भारत की पहली यात्रा के गवाह बनेंगे। इस दिन सभी यात्रियों को मुफ्त पास दिए जाएंगे और उन्हें वंदे भारत का अनुभव कराया जाएगा। वंदे भारत का नियमित परिचालन 20 दिसंबर से शुरू होगा। यह ट्रेन वाराणसी से 2.15 बजे चलेगी और प्रयागराज में 3.50 बजे पहुंचेगी। इसके बाद यह कानपुर, इटावा, टूंडला और अलीगढ़ जैसे स्टेशनों पर रुकेगी और अपनी यात्रा को नई दिल्ली में समाप्त करेगी।
