Noida International Airport, located in Jewar, will be connected to the Delhi-Hawda railway line along with the Khurja Junction and the Chola station. A 50-kilometer long railway line will be laid from Palwal to Rundhi station in Haryana to connect the Chola station with the Jewar Airport. The Northern Central Railway (NCR) has started the basic survey along with the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR).
To make the airport a multi-modal transport hub, metro, local and inter-state bus stations, and a railway terminal will be constructed here. According to railway officials, a railway terminal will be built within the airport premises. For this, the NCR is preparing a project to connect the Chola station with Rundhi in Haryana. This will transform the Chola station into a junction.
Dr. Amit Malviya, Senior PRO of the Northern Central Railway, has stated that the NCR has started the survey to lay a new 50-kilometer railway line to connect Chola with Rundhi in Haryana. The survey will be completed soon, after which a Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be prepared. According to railway officials, the railway line connecting Rundhi in Haryana will also be connected to the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata railway lines. Trains from Hazrat Nizamuddin and Faridabad to Prayagraj, Kanpur, and Hawda will be operated via the Jewar-Chola route. Trains from New Delhi and Anand Vihar to Mumbai and South India will be operated via Chola and Jewar. The railway link will also cross the Yamuna Expressway, providing connectivity to cities like Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Jhansi, and Kanpur, along with Prayagraj. Himanshu Shekhar, CPRO of the Northern Central Railway, has stated that the NCR has started the survey to lay a new railway line from Chola station to Rundhi in Haryana, via Jewar Airport. The DPR will be prepared soon.
नोएडा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे को दिल्ली-हावड़ा रेलवे लाइन पर खुर्जा जंक्शन के साथ-साथ चोला स्टेशन से जोड़ा जाएगा। इसके लिए चोला स्टेशन को पलवल से हरियाणा के रुंधी स्टेशन तक 50 किलोमीटर लंबी रेलवे लाइन बिछाई जाएगी। यह एक मल्टी-मॉडल ट्रांसपोर्ट हब बनने का प्रोजेक्ट है, जिसमें मेट्रो, स्थानीय और अंतरराज्यीय बस स्टेशन और रेलवे टर्मिनल शामिल होंगे। जल्द ही रेलवे अधिकारियों द्वारा रेलवे टर्मिनल का निर्माण किया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही हरियाणा को दिल्ली-मुंबई और दिल्ली-कोलकाता रेलवे लाइन से भी जोड़ा जाएगा। इससे नोएडा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे की कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार आएगा।
