Noida International Airport is set to have high-speed rail connectivity with 11 stations of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and 15 stations of the local metro module, according to a feasibility report. The Uttar Pradesh government had approved a 72 km RRTS corridor between Ghaziabad and Jewar, connecting the upcoming greenfield Noida International Airport in December 2023, and had asked the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) to prepare a feasibility report. The project is estimated to cost around ₹16,000 crore. NCRTC is already implementing an 82 km Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS project and a 17 km prioritized project in Ghaziabad.

The main spokesperson of NCRTC, Puneet Vats, said that the feasibility report (for the Ghaziabad to Noida airport link) has been prepared and teams are working on a detailed project report for the link as per the directions of the state government. It is expected to be ready in the next three to four months.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the Noida airport is expected to be operational by December 2024 and is expected to handle around 71 million passengers per day by 2042-43. To connect the airport with the catchment area, the state government had requested NCRTC to prepare a feasibility report for a high-speed train corridor for the airport.

The feasibility report proposes a 37.15 km RRTS/metro system between the Ghaziabad RRTS station and Kasna. This section will have 22 stations, out of which 15 will be for the local metro module. The report proposes seven RRTS stations ★Ghaziabad, Ghaziabad (South), Greater Noida West, Noida Park 5, Surajpur, Pari Chowk, and Ecotech 6.

The report also includes a proposal for a local metro module, which includes Siddharth Vihar, Greater Noida West Sector 16C, Ecotech 12, Sector 2, 3, 10, and 12 near Surajpur, Malakpur, Ecotech 2, Noida Park 3, Gamma 1, and Omega 2. The extension from Kasna to Noida airport will be approximately 35.11 km, and the report proposes four RRTS stations ★Dankaur, YEIDA North (Sector 18), YEIDA Central (Sector 21, 35), and finally Noida airport.

This project will connect Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Delhi. On December 5, the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, DS Mishra, chaired a meeting to approve a ₹1,600 crore project to connect Noida International Airport with the cities of the National Capital Region (NCR) ★Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Delhi.
