He then apologized to Amitabh Bachchan saying, “Sir, I want to apologize for going straight to my mother instead of coming to you.” The actor replied, “You did the right thing.” Sagar revealed, “My mother has a 20-year-old connection with KBC. She tried her best to come on the show even before I was born. She worked hard and made attempts, but she never got the opportunity.”

Son reaches KBC with the help of his mother’s efforts

• Sagar further shared, “When I turned 12, my mother said, ‘I will try to get my son on the show once he turns 18.’ Now that I am 18, here I am.” Amitabh Bachchan, known for his role in the movie Sholay, told Sagar’s mother, “Your wish has been fulfilled. You tried for 20 years to come on the show, and now it has become even more significant. I hope it lives up to your expectations.”

• The game of questions began with Sagar being asked a question worth INR 3,000. The question was, “Which fictional continent is a part of the entertainment franchise ‘Game of Thrones’?”

• Sagar gave the correct answer, which was “Game of Thrones”.

Bachchan said, “I have some general knowledge for you. ‘Game of Thrones’ is a series based on George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy novel. The series has not yet concluded, and the adaptation of the novel is still pending. You must have seen how amazingly it has been made. I am amazed at the effort they put into it.
