‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ season 15 started on August 14, 2023. In the previous episodes, Amitabh Bachchan hosted the show in a splendid manner and won the hearts of the people. So far, no contestant has won a crore rupees in the show, but in previous seasons, there have been several contestants who became crorepatis and made good use of the prize money.
Season 13 Crorepati
- Sahil Aditya Ahirwar from Chhatarpur won the title of crorepati in season 13.
- Himani Bundela from Agra was the crorepati of season 13.
Bineta Jain
- Bineta Jain, a teacher from Guwahati, became a crorepati in season 10. She was the only crorepati of that season.
Anamika
- Anamika became a crorepati in season 9. She was a social worker by profession and used the prize money for her NGO. She was from Jharkhand.
Brajesh Dubey
- Brajesh Dubey from Madhya Pradesh became a crorepati in season 2. He was the only crorepati of that season.
Four Crorepatis in Season 11
- In season 11, not one or two but a total of four contestants became crorepatis. They were Babita Tade from Maharashtra, Sanjay Raj from Bihar, Ajit Kumar from Gaya district in Bihar, and Gautam Kumar Jha from Bihar.
Megha Patil
- Megha Patil, a resident of Mumbai who was battling cancer, won one crore rupees in the show. She used the prize money for her treatment and also helped in her children’s education.
Achin Narula and Sarthak Narula
- In season 8, two brothers from Delhi, Achin Narula and Sarthak Narula, won 7 crore rupees. They won the prize money together.
Firoz Fatima
- In season 7 of the show, Firoz Fatima from Uttar Pradesh became a crorepati. She used the prize money for her father’s treatment and to repay her debts.
Taj Mohammad
- In season 7, Taj Mohammad from Rajasthan won one crore rupees. He used the money for his daughter’s eye treatment and also built a house with the remaining prize money.
Rahat Tasleem
- In the fourth season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, Rahat Tasleem became a crorepati. She was the first female contestant to win the title. She was from Jharkhand and planned to open a shop with the prize money.
