📈 BHEL Share Price on 21 March 2024 📉
Public sector engineering company Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been awarded a contract by NTPC to establish a 1,600-megawatt power project for the construction of Phase-3 of the ultra-modern thermal power project in Singrauli. The company’s shares were trading at Rs 220.20 with a 1.78% decrease in yesterday’s trading session. However, on Thursday, 21 March 2024, the BHEL share price saw a 5.34% increase, trading at Rs 237.
In a statement, BHEL announced the establishment of a new power generation plant near the existing 2,000-megawatt thermal power station in Singrauli, Uttar Pradesh. Singrauli TPP was NTPC’s first power plant in the state, built in 1982.
During Monday’s trading session, BHEL’s share closed at Rs 224.20. The company’s share price was at a low of Rs 218.65 in the previous trading session. Over the past three months, BHEL has given investors a return of 17.9%. In the last six months, the company’s share price has increased by 74.70%.
Over the past year, BHEL’s share has given investors a return of 189.50%. The company’s 52-week high was at Rs 235, while the low was at Rs 122.70. The company’s total market capitalization is Rs 225.99 crore, with the Indian government holding a 63.2% stake in the company.
