Gold Rate Today: Prices Fall by Rs. 11 per 10 grams

The price of gold opened at Rs 59160 per 10 grams today, according to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association website. This is a decrease from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 59171 per 10 grams. Currently, gold prices are Rs 2,425 per 10 grams cheaper than the all-time high reached on May 11, 2023, when gold had reached Rs 61585 per 10 grams. Therefore, the price of gold has fallen by Rs. 11 per 10 grams today. In comparison, the price of silver has increased by Rs. 109 per kg today, with an opening price of Rs 71126 per kg.

Gold Rate Difference on MCX: Trading Bullish

Gold is trading bullish on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold futures on October 5, 2023, are trading at Rs 59,012.00, up by Rs 114.00. Similarly, silver futures on December 5, 2023, are trading at Rs 71,878.00, with an increase of Rs 315.00.

City-wise Gold Rates Today

In Mumbai, the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 54840, while 24 carat gold is priced at Rs 59830. The rates are the same in Nagpur and Pune.
