📈 Sudarshan Chemicals Share Price Surges with HDFC Mutual Fund Purchase

HDFC म्यूचुअल फंड made a significant investment in Sudarshan Chemical Industries on Thursday, 15th February. The mutual fund purchased 17,75,551 shares of the company, amounting to ₹91.26 crores. This acquisition was made at a price of ₹513.99 per share.

On 15th February, Sudarshan Chemicals closed at ₹567.55 on the BSE, marking a 6.63% increase. The company has a market capitalization of ₹3,928.99 crores.

Founders of Sudarshan Chemical Industries, Nisha Ajay Rathi and Ajay Balakrishna Rathi, sold their shares in the market. Nisha sold her entire stake, while Ajay sold 2.02%. Nisha sold 4,00,404 shares at an average price of ₹514, while Ajay sold 14,00,000 shares at ₹514.18 per share.

According to the shareholding pattern for the December 2023 quarter, Nisha and Ajay held a 3% stake in the company. In the previous quarter, on 3rd February, they had sold a 2.02% stake.

BofA Securities Europe SA purchased 2,20,800 shares of Alpex Solar at a price of ₹7.45 crores. The shares were listed at ₹337.47 in the domestic market.

Another significant transaction was carried out by the Carlyle Group, who sold shares of Yes Bank worth ₹1,056 crores through open market transactions. The Carlyle Group sold a 1.35% stake in the bank through C.A. Bask Investments at ₹27.10 per share.

Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) purchased 30,63,05,668 shares of Yes Bank at ₹27.10 per share.
