L&T has recently received orders worth Rs 30,000 crore from a reputed Middle Eastern consumer company. These orders include responsibilities for platform and ground field work. L&T has been awarded a contract worth Rs 15,000 crore to set up a gas compression plant in West Asia through its hydrocarbon business unit. The company will be responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction work, including inlet separation facility in the gas processing plant. Over the past year, L&T’s shares have yielded a return of 55% to its investors. In the last three years, the company’s shares have provided a return of 175% to its investors. In the second quarter of the current financial year, L&T has recorded a revenue collection of Rs 51,024 crore. The company has witnessed a growth rate of 20% in revenue collection on an annual basis. In the September 2023 quarter, L&T registered an operating profit of Rs 8,173 crore. The company has reported a PTI (Profit Before Tax) of Rs 3,855 crore with a growth rate of 37% on an annual basis.
