It is because of her beauty that Bishesh Huiram participated in the Miss International Queen Beauty Contest held in Thailand. She not only participated but also won the contest, bringing glory to Manipur. What’s surprising is that this beauty pageant is exclusively for transgenders.
Not only that, Bishesh Huiram has also pursued a course in fashion and dress designing from Bangalore University and has acted in Manipuri films. When Bishesh’s parents found out about her being a transgender, they supported her unconditionally in every situation. Her father is a retired government employee.
Her mother, Khomdonbi, revealed that during her childhood, when Bishesh used to wear girls’ clothes and preferred to behave and dress like them, she would get angry upon seeing her. However, gradually, she accepted the truth and stood by her side at every step. Bishesh Huiram faced many difficulties in order to pursue her dreams. Despite being a well-known transgender, she had to face numerous unnecessary controversies.
Despite being famous and beautiful, Bishesh receives constant support from her parents and the transgender community. Moreover, there are many such beautiful transgender individuals in the world that few people may be aware of.
