The Bihar government has taken a strict stand against the illegal collection of parking fees across all municipal areas in the state. Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Development Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha directed officials to ensure that no vehicle is charged without being actually parked in a designated zone. This decision follows numerous complaints from citizens about contractors charging arbitrary amounts or taxing vehicles that are simply passing through a road.
