Anand Kumar Singh, who held the Barh SDPO post, has been reassigned to the Patna High Court as DSP Security. This change is specifically aimed at strengthening the security arrangements of the High Court and improving policing in the Barh sub-division.

New SP Prerna Kumar takes over Lakhisarai at a time when the district faces challenges like illegal sand mining and liquor smuggling.
