The Delhi Cyber Police team conducted a significant operation in Bhagalpur, Bihar, leading to the arrest of three individuals suspected of cyber fraud. This inter-state action was initiated following a cyber fraud case registered in Delhi.

Arrests Made in Parbatti and Jogser Areas

Under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Mohit Kumar, the Delhi Cyber Police team arrived in Bhagalpur. With the assistance of the University Police Station, they apprehended Pitambar Kumar and another suspect from the Parbatti area. Subsequently, the team moved to Jogser Police Station, where, with local support, Vikas Kumar was also taken into custody.

Delhi Case Prompted Inter-State Operation

The original cyber fraud case was registered on December 20 at the North East Cyber Police Station in Jyoti Nagar, Delhi. The Delhi Police’s investigation led them across state borders to Bhagalpur to track down and arrest the alleged perpetrators.

Ongoing Interrogation and Further Raids

Currently, all three accused individuals are undergoing interrogation at an undisclosed location. Based on the information gathered, the police team is also conducting continuous raids in various localities falling under the Jogser and University police station jurisdictions, aiming to uncover more details related to the case.
