How is the government stopping gas hoarding?

The Petroleum and Home Ministries have started a massive crackdown on the hoarding and black marketing of gas cylinders. Local authorities and police are raiding locations across Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Odisha. In Uttar Pradesh alone, 20 FIRs are filed, and 19 individuals face legal action. Oil companies are also conducting surprise inspections at distributor agencies to ensure the public receives their cylinders without any delay.
