Haryana Government Initiates Schemes to Empower Women
In a bid to empower women, the Haryana government has launched several schemes. One such scheme provides a loan of Rs. 3 lakh to financially weak women so that they can start their own businesses.
Conditions of the Scheme
To be eligible for the scheme, the applicant must be a female entrepreneur between the ages of 18 and 60. Additionally, the applicant should not be a defaulter with any bank. The annual family income of the woman should be less than Rs. 5 lakh, and she should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
One noteworthy aspect of this scheme is that the Haryana government will provide a subsidy of 7% interest for three years on timely repayment of the loan taken from the Women Development Corporation.
Required Documents
To avail the benefits of the scheme, the applicant must submit the application form along with the ration card, family identity proof, Aadhaar card, and residential proof. Two passport-sized photographs, project report, training certificate, and experience certificate are also required.
