Bihar’s famous Kakolat Waterfall is set to welcome tourists again starting March 20. The waterfall was closed following flood damage last year, but repair work is now complete. With the onset of summer, local authorities have made arrangements for security and facilities to handle the expected crowd. Local hotels and shops are also preparing to reopen to serve the visitors arriving from different parts of the state and neighboring regions.

What are the rules and timings for Kakolat Waterfall?

The waterfall will operate daily from 7 AM to 5 PM according to the schedule. However, it remains closed every Tuesday as a weekly holiday to allow for maintenance and cleaning. Visitors should note that bathing is permitted only in the pool below the stairs for safety reasons. Swimming directly under the main waterfall is strictly prohibited to avoid accidents. Security personnel have been deployed by the Nawada Forest Division to ensure everyone follows these guidelines and the area remains safe for families.
