What is the cultural significance of Launda Naach?

Launda Naach is a traditional folk dance deeply rooted in the culture of Bihar, where men dress as women to perform during festivals and special occasions. The event at the 10 Circular Road residence gained significant public attention as videos of the performance circulated on social media. While the event was a celebration of local heritage, it is noted that Rabri Devi was later directed in November 2025 to vacate this specific government bungalow following a 2019 Patna High Court ruling regarding lifetime allocations for former Chief Ministers.
