Objective of the New Facility

The Udaan Yatri Cafe is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, implemented in partnership with the Airports Authority of India (AAI). This development follows previous discussions in Parliament where Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha raised concerns about the high cost of food and water at airports across the country. The government intends to improve the passenger experience by making air travel more comfortable and inclusive. Along with the cafe, the upgraded high-speed Wi-Fi ensures that travelers stay connected without additional costs. Officials stated that these services are crucial for fostering inclusive growth under the UDAN scheme.
