Bihar Education Crisis; KK Pathak Inspected Vaishali Govt School, Principal Fails

The Deputy Secretary of Bihar’s Department of Education, KK Pathak, recently visited government schools in the state. During his visit, Pathak reached a government school in Sarai, Vaishali district. He asked the school principal some basic questions, but she was unable to answer them. The principal was so nervous that she couldn’t even tell the Deputy Secretary her name.

11 out of 29 government school teachers were absent

Deputy Secretary Pathak asked the principal simple questions like subtracting 11 from 29 to determine how many students would be left. Even after thinking for a while, the principal couldn’t answer the question. In fact, when the Deputy Secretary arrived at the school, several teachers were not present. When he started counting the absent teachers, he found that 11 out of 29 teachers were absent. It was during this conversation that the Deputy Secretary asked the principal this question.

Education Department has stopped the principal’s salary

The Education Department has asked the principal to provide a written response to this matter within 2 days. The department stated that action will be taken in this matter only after receiving the principal’s reply to the Deputy Secretary’s order. Currently, the principal’s salary has been stopped by the department as a disciplinary measure.
