The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert and advised people to take precautions to protect themselves from the cold. The change in weather is being attributed to the active western disturbance in the region. The IMD has recommended wearing warm clothing and consuming hot beverages to stay warm during this period.

According to the IMD’s official forecast, Bihar can expect a decrease in temperature by 15-20 kilometers per hour over the next three days, with a maximum drop of around 4-6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is expected to go below 10 degrees Celsius. In light of this, the IMD has advised people in the state to take necessary measures to protect themselves from the cold. They have also urged residents to listen to the bulletins issued by the IMD and follow their recommendations.
