Mahindra has launched its most awaited compact SUV, the Mahindra XUV 3XO on 29 April 2024. This launch has proven to be a big challenge for Tata as the XUV 3XO could be the biggest competition for Tata in the segment. Mahindra has made several changes to this new car, which are first of its kind in this segment. The design of the Mahindra XUV 3XO is eye-catching with a sporty look and an entirely new front face.

The car features 17-inch alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display in the center section of the dashboard, a Harmon Cardon sound system, front armrest, digital driver display, wireless charger, ambient lighting, 360-degree surround camera, panoramic sunroof, a new steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS (1R1V) technology system, ventilated front seats, 6 airbags, EBD with ABS, disc brakes on all wheels, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, keep assist, and auto emergency braking.

Mahindra offers three engine options in the new XUV 3XO, with two petrol and one diesel engine. All three engines have a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission option. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The 1.2-liter petrol engine generates 109bhp power and 200Nm torque, while the 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine generates 129bhp power and 230Nm torque. The 1.5-liter diesel engine generates 115bhp power and 300Nm peak torque.

The 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine with the manual variant offers a mileage of 18.89 km/l, and the automatic variant provides a mileage of 17.96 km/l. The 1.5-liter diesel engine with the manual variant offers a mileage of 20.6 km/l, and the automatic variant provides a mileage of 21.2 km/l. The Mahindra XUV 3XO is available in various variants, with the base variant priced at INR 7.49 lakh, and the top variant AX7 priced at INR 12.49 lakh.
