Mahindra to Launch Four New SUVs by 2024

The Indian automobile manufacturer, Mahindra, has announced its plan to launch several new SUVs in the Indian auto market by 2024. The decision to introduce these new SUVs has been taken in response to the increasing demand for SUVs in the market. The line-up includes an electric vehicle as well.

Updated Mahindra XUV400

Mahindra is set to launch the facelift model of its XUV400 electric SUV in the Indian market. The XUV400 is currently the only electric car available in the Indian auto market from Mahindra. The updated model is expected to have major changes including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new instrument console, an improved dashboard, and a new center console.

Mahindra XUV300 EV and 5-Door Mahindra Thar

The company will also launch a facelift model of its popular SUV, XUV300, next year, followed by the EV model of the XUV300. The electric car is expected to deliver a driving range of 350 km on a single charge. Mahindra is also planning to launch a 5-door version of its popular off-roader SUV, Thar, soon. The car may have significant changes in its wheelbase and could have an ex-showroom price starting from 15 lakh rupees. The new Thar could be offered with a choice of 2.2L diesel and 2.0L petrol engines.

Mahindra XUV.e8

The company could also launch its XUV.e8 electric SUV, based on its XUV700 SUV, in the Indian auto market by 2024. The car could have strong features and a powerful battery pack. The XUV.e8 electric SUV could have an ex-showroom price starting from 28 lakh rupees and could be offered with single and dual e-motor setups.
