The Station House Officer of Simari, Veerendra Chaudhary, revealed that there was an old warrant against Pramod Mahato for previous violent incidents. The police had gone to arrest him based on this warrant. However, Mahato’s escape attempt led to his injuries and subsequent hospitalization at the DMCH. The medical team is providing necessary care for his recovery.
