The Bar Council of India (BCI) has declared the result of the 18th All India Bar Examination (AIBE 18) for the year 2024. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results on the official website of the Bar Council at allindiabarexnation.com or barcouncilofindia.org. The result link is available on both websites, and candidates can use their user ID and password created during registration to check their scores.
Candidates can also check the AIBE 18 Result 2024 directly through the link https://bci.register.smartexams.in/home. The council has mentioned in its result notice that seven questions asked in AIBE 18 have been withdrawn, and the result has been prepared based on 93 questions instead of 100. The passing marks calculation is 45% out of 93 marks, which is reduced to 42 for General and OBC category candidates.
Prior to the results, the BCI had released the final answer key for AIBE 18 on March 21, 2024. The 18th edition of the examination was conducted on December 10, 2023, at various exam centers across the country. The provisional answer key was released on December 12, 2023, and a window for raising objections was provided from December 13 to December 20. The All India Bar Examination is a certificate exam that enables law graduates to practice in Indian courts.
