Anant Singh released on parole, welcomed with flower shower

Former MLA Anant Singh, from Mokama, has been released from jail on a 15-day parole. He was welcomed with a shower of flowers from a crane as he stepped out of jail. Singh has been brought out of jail to support JD(U) candidate Lalan Singh, who is facing tough competition in the Mokama election due to the weakening position of the NDA alliance in the region.

Anant Singh’s troubled past and political implications

Anant Singh, also known as ‘Chhote Sarkar’, has a controversial past with criminal cases against him. His recent involvement in criminal activities led to a 10-year jail sentence. Singh’s release on parole is seen as a move to secure votes for JD(U) candidate Lalan Singh in the upcoming elections, amidst allegations of political manipulation.

Political strategies and alliances in Mokama

With the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Mokama, the political landscape is shifting. Anant Singh’s return to the political scene could impact the vote bank of the Bhumihaar community in the region. His wife, Neelam Devi, has been fielded as a candidate by the RJD, further complicating the political dynamics in the area. Singh’s release on parole has raised suspicions of political manoeuvring, as parties vie for power in the upcoming elections.
