केंद्रीय एसपी वैभव शर्मा ने कहा कि शहर की विभिन्न संस्थानों में स्थापित सीसीटीवी को स्मार्ट सिटी लिमिटेड के एकीकृत कमांड एंड कंट्रोल सेंटर से जोड़कर, शहर की हर गतिविधि की निगरानी की जा सकेगी। इससे अपराधियों के मन में भी डर पैदा होगा और वे अपराध करने से पहले पुलिस के द्वारा ध्यान में आने का डर रखेंगे। यह बुद्ध नगर पुलिस स्टेशन के तहत सिटी सेंटर मॉल से शुरू हुआ है। साथ ही, सभी पुलिस स्टेशन के प्रमुखों को भी निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि वे एक सर्वेक्षण करें और उन संस्थानों की सूची तैयार करें जिनके इमारतों के बाहर आईपी आधारित कैमरे स्थापित हैं।
