Union Agriculture Minister Arjun Munda has responded to the farmers’ protests, stating that discussions have been held with farmers on various issues. He emphasized that solutions will be found through dialogue.
Government Committed to Farmers’ Welfare
Arjun Munda reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working for the welfare of farmers during the Delhi march. He stated that both sides need to work hard to reach an agreement on certain issues.
Prior Statements by Arjun Munda
Earlier, Arjun Munda had emphasized the importance of addressing the demands raised by protesting farmers on the Punjab-Haryana borders. He urged farmers to participate in further discussions.
Violence in Farmer Protests
Amid demands for a legal guarantee on Minimum Support Price (MSP), farmers at the Shambhu and Dattasinh Wala borders attempted to march towards Delhi. However, clashes with police and paramilitary forces resulted in injuries and fatalities, including the death of a young farmer from Bathinda.
केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री अर्जुन मुंडा ने किसानों के प्रदर्शन पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है, कहते हुए कि चर्चा के माध्यम से इस मामले का हल निकाला जाएगा। उन्होंने किसानों से सहमति की अपील की और सरकार का किसानों के हित में काम करने का दावा किया। इसके साथ ही, किसानों के दिल्ली कूच को लेकर भी उन्होंने बातचीत की महत्वता बताई। एक दौर के बाद भी किसानों द्वारा न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य पर कानूनी गारंटी की मांग पर हिंसक हो गया किसान आंदोलन का वर्णन भी किया गया है।
