In a major breakthrough, the police in Gopalganj district have arrested two notorious criminals within 24 hours for their involvement in a robbery at Shriram Finance, where a staff member was shot. The criminals, identified as Sunny Kumar from Bidupur and Shivam Kumar from Bhagwanpur in Vaishali district, were already wanted in multiple cases of looting and the Arms Act. During the arrest, the police recovered two country-made pistols, nine cartridges, two mobile phones, and a stolen bike used in the robbery. The Chhapra police are currently interrogating the arrested criminals and conducting raids to apprehend the remaining gang members.
The arrested criminals, Sunny Kumar and Shivam Kumar, along with their accomplices, attempted a robbery at Shriram Finance on February 2 near Banjari Mode in the Nagar Thana area. They shot a staff member when he resisted. Taking the incident seriously, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed and the neighboring district police were alerted. After committing the crime, the criminals fled from Vaishali to Chhapra. With the help of the Chhapra police, two of the criminals were apprehended, while the search for the others is still ongoing.
Sunny Kumar, son of Bijendra Ram from Dilawarpur in Bidupur, and Sunny Kumar, son of Bablu Kumar Singh from Imadpur in Bhagwanpur, both from Vaishali district, were involved in the robbery in Gopalganj. The police are investigating how they carried out the robbery after coming from Vaishali and are conducting raids to arrest the remaining members of the gang. Both criminals have a history of criminal activities and are wanted in cases of arms act and dacoity, not only in Bidupur but also in Gadkha Thana. They used to travel to other districts on bikes to commit robberies and dacoities, and after the incident, they fled from Vaishali on their bike. However, this time they were arrested while trying to escape.
बिहार के गोपालगंज में श्रीराम फाइनेंस में कर्मी को गोली मारकर लूटपाट करनेवाले दो कुख्यात अपराधियों को पुलिस ने 24 घंटे के अंदर गिरफ्तार कर लिया। इन अपराधियों के पास से पुलिस ने दो देसी पिस्टल, नौ कारतूस और दो मोबाइल के अलावा लूट में प्रयोग किये गये बाइक बरामद किया है। गिरफ्तार अपराधियों की पहचान वैशाली के बिदुपुर के सन्नी कुमार और भगवानपुर के शिवम कुमार के रूप में की गयी है। इन अपराधियों पर कई लूट और आर्म्स एक्ट के मामले पहले से दर्ज हैं। वैशाली से आकर लूटपाट के बाद मारी गोली के बाद ये अपराधी छपरा होकर वैशाली भाग रहे थे, जिसमें दो अपराधियों को छपरा पुलिस के सहयोग से गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। बदमाशों का रहा है आपराधिक इतिहास, इन अपराधियों पर आर्म्स एक्ट और डकैती का केस पहले से दर्ज है।
