**Body Found Hanging from a Noose ★Army Jawan’s Wife**
In the Pitojhiya village under the Gogri police station in Khagaria district, the body of a married woman was found hanging from a noose. The incident is said to have occurred late on Wednesday night. Upon receiving information about the incident, the Gogri police have taken custody of the body for postmortem. The deceased woman’s relatives from her maternal home have accused her in-laws of murder. The police have taken the deceased woman’s mother-in-law, father-in-law, and her husband’s first wife into custody for questioning. The deceased woman has been identified as Gunjan Kumari, the wife of Amir Yadav who is an army man residing in the same village.
**Relatives Accuse In-laws of Murder**
In this case, the deceased woman’s relatives from her maternal home have accused her in-laws of murder. The deceased woman’s sister-in-law, Pinki Devi, revealed that her sister-in-law got married to Amir Yadav four years ago. She alleges that Amir Yadav concealed the fact of his first marriage and married her sister-in-law, taking Rs. 15 lakhs as dowry. According to the relatives, the in-laws would pressurize the deceased woman to bring money from her maternal home daily and physically abuse her.
**Police Investigating the Allegations**
The Gogri police station chief, Ajit Kumar, stated that the incident occurred late on Wednesday night. The body has been sent for postmortem. According to the allegations made by the relatives, the murder has been reported. Some individuals have been taken into custody for questioning. A thorough investigation of the entire case is underway. A primary report will be filed based on the application from the deceased woman’s maternal relatives.
