During this period, nearly 986.65 lakh passengers commenced their journeys from Ara, out of which over 30 crore rupees were earned through online ticket sales, indicating a growing preference for digital platforms.
Increasing Popularity of Mobile UTSAV App
With the Mobile UTSAV app gaining traction, over 30 crore 27 lakh 86 thousand passengers have booked tickets from Ara Junction in a year. The app has surpassed traditional methods such as ticket counters, passes, and PRS ticket sales, with Ara Junction now ranking 11th among prominent stations in the Hajipur Railway Zone.
