The Bihar Matric Annual Examination 2024 ended on Friday, with accusations of 171 students being expelled for cheating during the exam from 15th to 23rd February. The highest number of expelled students for cheating were from Nalanda with 36 and Bhojpur with 33 students. Additionally, students from Gaya, Saharsa, Saran, Gopalganj, and Jehanabad were also expelled for cheating, totaling 171 students from 21 districts. Last year, during the Matric Annual Examination 2023, a total of 171 students were also expelled for cheating.

During this year’s Matric exam, 73 fake students were caught from 13 districts. The highest number of fake students were caught from Lakhisarai with 29 students. Compared to the previous year’s Matric exam in 2023, where 117 fake students were caught from 19 districts, there has been a decrease in the number of fake students this year.

In 17 districts, not a single student was expelled for cheating during the exam. These districts include Darbhanga, Araria, Katihar, Kishanganj, Kaimur, West Champaran, Banka, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar, Sheikhpura, Sitamarhi, Samastipur, Madhubani, East Champaran, Munger, Lakhisarai, Supaul.

On the last day of the exam, 1579 students from across the state took the exam for vocational optional subjects. The exam was conducted smoothly with strict monitoring in place, including CCTV surveillance and adhering to other rules like wearing masks and following social distancing. The Bihar Board Chairman, Anand Kishore, congratulated everyone for the successful conduct of the exam.

बिहार मैट्रिक वार्षिक परीक्षा 2024 शुक्रवार को समाप्त हो गयी। 15 से 23 फरवरी तक चली परीक्षा के दौरान 171 परीक्षार्थी नकल करने के आरोप में निष्कासित किये गये और 73 फर्जी परीक्षार्थी पकड़े गये। इस बार फर्जी परीक्षार्थियों की संख्या में कमी आयी है और परीक्षा में बेहतर संचालन के लिए बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष ने सभी को बधाई दी है।
