Good news for the unemployed in Patna, Bihar, as the Nitish government has launched the Laghu Udyami Yojana. The theme of this scheme is ‘Every household entrepreneur, every household employment, Bihar is ready for high aspirations’. Under this scheme, applicants will receive a sum of 2-2 lakh rupees. The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, inaugurated the application portal for this scheme on Tuesday, and people are now eager to learn more about it.
To apply for the Bihar Laghu Udyami Yojana, you need to first log in to the website of the Industries Department. To avail the benefits of this scheme, it is necessary for you to be a permanent resident of Bihar, and your family’s monthly income should be less than ₹6000. The age limit for this scheme is between 18-50 years. While filling out the form, you will need to provide documents such as the matric certificate for age verification, birth certificate, Aadhaar card, PAN card, residential certificate, caste certificate, proof of monthly family income, bank statement, signature photo, and if you are disabled, then a disability certificate.
After filling out the form, you will need to visit the department’s website to upload the required documents and complete the form. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number, which should be linked to your Aadhaar. During the application process, a web camera will also be used for the photograph. After uploading all the documents and filling out the form, you need to click on the submit button. After submitting the application, you should print out the receipt and keep it for future reference. Interested individuals can apply for this scheme until 20th February.
Under the Bihar Laghu Udyami Yojana, beneficiaries will receive the amount in three installments. The Chief Minister has instructed all district magistrates to provide full assistance to those who wish to start their own businesses. According to the information, in the first installment, 25% of the project cost will be provided, followed by 50% in the second installment, and the remaining 25% in the third installment.
