Disaster Management Department Issues Alert

Letters have been sent to all departments, including the Education and Health Departments, urging people to stay cautious in the severe heat. The department has also appealed for schools to consider operating in the morning shift or granting holidays due to the heat.
School Timings and Operations
The Disaster Management Department has suggested that if schools do not change their timings, they should consider giving early dismissals due to the heat. The Education Department has the authority to temporarily close schools if needed. This issue of school timings has sparked debate in Bihar, with the MLA Sanjay Kumar Singh writing to the Education Minister requesting a change in school timings.

The Education Department has not yet made any announcements regarding the suggested changes in school timings. The MLA has urged the Education Minister to issue immediate orders for morning schools. Despite previous orders from the Chief Minister, the impact of these decisions has not been seen on the ground. The response of the Education Department to the Disaster Management Department’s appeal remains to be seen.
बिहार में गर्मी का कहर शुरू हो गया है और इसको लेकर आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग ने अलर्ट जारी किया है। शिक्षा विभाग, स्वास्थ्य विभाग समेत सभी विभागों को इसको लेकर पत्र भेजा गया है और भीषण गर्मी और हीट वेव को लेकर सतर्क रहने की अपील की है। विभाग ने स्कूलों की टाइमिंग पर भी अपील की है और मॉर्निंग शिफ्ट में स्कूलों का संचालन करने की या फिर गर्मी की छुट्टी कर देने की अपील की है। इसके साथ ही शिक्षा विभाग को भी आपदा विभाग की अपील पर निर्णय लेना होगा।
