Two PA of Bima Bharati arrested with lakhs of rupees a day before polling
In Purnia, a day before the elections, the police arrested two people with 10 lakhs rupees. It is reported that the RJD candidate of Mahagathbandhan, PA Arvind Jayaswal, and Mahavir Mandal were traveling in two Scorpio cars, which were stopped by the police for inspection near Rupauli Thana. During the inspection, 10 lakhs rupees were found in one of the Scorpios. Both individuals were taken into custody along with the vehicles.
Investigation underway for seized money
The police are currently investigating the source and purpose of the seized money. Interrogations are being conducted with the arrested individuals to gather more information. The authorities are working to determine the details of the case before making any conclusive statements.
