Change in Bihar Weather
The weather in Bihar has once again changed after the spell of rainfall. There are chances of rain in some parts of eastern Bihar on Thursday. The rest of the state will have partly cloudy skies with sunshine. However, on 16th February, the state will experience a cold wave again, leading to a significant drop in day and night temperatures. This will make the weather feel colder.
Cyclonic Circulation Behind Weather Change
According to IMD’s official forecast, the recent weather change in Bihar is due to the cyclonic circulation. A western disturbance is currently active in the western Himalayan region since 17th February. If this western disturbance intensifies, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in the state once again. Currently, there will be sudden gusty winds in the state on 17th February, leading to an increase in humidity in the environment.
Effects of Rainfall on Bihar Weather
On Wednesday, there was moderate rainfall in most parts of the state. A total of 8 millimeters of rainfall was recorded in Bihar. Rafi Ganj in Aurangabad district received 58.6 mm, Madanpur received 21.4 mm, Nawada received 21.5 mm, Mohania in Bhabua district received 19.8 mm, and Bhabua received 18.6 mm of rainfall. Meanwhile, Patna received 10 mm of rainfall, and Bihata in Patna received 18.8 mm of rainfall.
No Rain, but Overcast Skies
Due to the movement of the cyclonic circulation from central and western parts of Bihar on Thursday, there will be no rainfall in Patna and its surrounding areas. However, there will be overcast skies. The presence of clouds will not lead to a decrease in temperature, and maximum temperature is expected to be around 21.4 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of around 17.3 degrees Celsius. After that, there is a possibility of a decrease of 2 to 4 degrees in minimum temperature from Friday, as the clouds start dissipating.
बिहार का मौसम फिर एकबार बदल चुका है। गुरुवार को पूर्वी बिहार के कुछ जगहों पर बारिश के आसार हैं, जबकि शेष राज्य में आंशिक बादल छाये रहेंगे। यह बदलाव चक्रवातीय परिसंचरण के कारण हो रहा है। 16 फरवरी को राज्य में एक बार फिर सर्दी पछुआ चलेगी और इससे दिन और रात के तापमान में कमी होगी। बारिश के कारण तापमान में गिरावट भी हुई है। इससे जिलों में बारिश हुई है और वातावरण में नमी की मात्रा भी बढ़ गयी है। बारिश का असर बुधवार को भी रहेगा और बादल छाये रहेंगे। भागलपुर जिले में भी बारिश हुई है और रात और सुबह में ठंडक बनी रहेगी। इससे दिन में धूप निकलेगी और हवा की गति भी बढ़ सकती है। सर्दी की महसूस होगी और पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के असर से और भारी बारिश की संभावना है।
