Body Found in Passenger Train at Ara Station

On platform number three at Ara station, the body of a man was found in a passenger train compartment. The discovery of the body caused a stir among the people present. The locals informed the Ara Railway Police about the incident. Upon receiving the information, the railway police immediately arrived at the scene and took the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The relatives of the deceased were then informed about the incident.

Identity of the Deceased

The deceased, identified as Dharmendra Rai, a 45-year-old resident of Anait Mathiya Ward No. 43 in the Navada Thana area, was the son of the late Bhagwan Rai. His younger brother, Ajay Kumar, mentioned that Dharmendra had gone to attend a wedding ceremony at his relatives’ house in Kurathaul, Patna on April 19. When he did not return home, his family assumed he was still at his relative’s house. It was during this time that the Ara Railway Police contacted them to inform them about Dharmendra’s death in the passenger train compartment.

Cause of Death

The exact cause of Dharmendra’s death is yet to be determined. According to the preliminary autopsy report prepared by the police, it appears that the death of the deceased man was due to extreme weakness and frailty. However, the exact cause of death will only be clear after the post-mortem report is available.
