Passengers can now book their unreserved tickets and platform tickets from any Indian Railways station to any station from the comfort of their homes. Previously, there was a restriction on booking tickets through the UTS online mobile app within a certain distance, but this restriction has now been lifted.

The Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railways, Veerendra Kumar, mentioned that the mobile app facility was introduced to provide convenience to passengers. Previously, there was a restriction on booking tickets from a specific distance around the station, which has now been removed. Passengers can now easily book their tickets using the UTS mobile app from any location.
Steps to Book Tickets
To book tickets using the UTS app, passengers need to first download the app from the Google Play Store. After installing the app, they have to register their personal details and mobile number to create a password. Once logged in, passengers can add money to their UTS wallet and select the station they want to travel to, choose the fare, make the payment, and view their ticket within the app.
