Buxar: A Hot Seat in Bihar for Lok Sabha Elections

Buxar is set to become one of the hottest seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. This is due to the ticket being cut for sitting MP and Union Minister Ashwini Choubey, and Mithilesh Tiwari being declared as the candidate for the Buxar parliamentary constituency. Amidst all this, IPS officer Anand Mishra, who resigned from the service to contest elections from Buxar, has also faced a major setback.

Anand Mishra’s Decision to Contest from Buxar

Anand Mishra, who is currently seen as a youth icon, has decided to contest elections from Buxar. He was confident that he would get a ticket from the BJP, but that did not happen. During a Holi event, Mishra expressed his desire to contest from Buxar and fulfill Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, but he did not receive a ticket from the party.

The Nomination of Mithilesh Tiwari and Anand Mishra’s Future Plans

The nomination of Mithilesh Tiwari from Buxar came as a surprise to the people, as they were expecting Anand Mishra to be the candidate if Ashwini Choubey was replaced. Anand Mishra, a former IPS officer from the Assam cadre, has now left it up to the public to decide his next course of action, hinting that he is prepared to contest the elections as an independent candidate if needed.
