Expanding Rural Economy: Jharkhand Chief Minister, Champai Soren, has made a significant statement regarding strengthening the rural economy. On Wednesday, the CM stated that he is committed to implementing the welfare schemes initiated during the tenure of former CM Hemant Soren in a more effective manner. He emphasized the government’s dedication to strengthening the foundational framework in the state.
Focus on Development: Immediately upon reaching his ancestral village, Jhilingora, in the Saraikela-Kharsawan district, CM Champai Soren stated that the policies and welfare schemes implemented during the previous CM’s tenure will be further enhanced and implemented in a more impactful manner. He stressed the need to strengthen the economic, social, educational, and healthcare sectors in the state.
Utilizing Mineral Resources: CM Soren highlighted the abundant mineral resources in Jharkhand. Unfortunately, the people of the state have been deprived of such benefits. The CM assured the people of improvements in basic infrastructure such as roads, electricity, and water supply. He also mentioned providing greater encouragement to the industrial sector.
Reservation for Locals: CM Champai Soren advocated for ensuring 75% reservation for local people in private companies and institutions in Jharkhand. It is worth noting that Hemant Soren, the executive president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on January 31 in a money laundering case. Prior to the investigation in the land scam case, Hemant Soren had resigned from the CM post.
