This has been proven by Chanda Kumari, a student from Jaunpur village in Mohanpur block. It is worth mentioning that Chanda can sketch anyone’s picture in just a few minutes, and that too with great accuracy. She has not received any training from anywhere, nor has she received any assistance from any government or non-governmental organization. Chanda has not lost her courage even in adverse circumstances and has even sketched the pictures of celebrities including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which look so real.
Chanda, who resides in a village severely affected by floods, is currently a graduate student. She can sketch people’s portraits on cardboard in just a few minutes. After coloring, the pictures look like they have been made using digital devices. However, she does not use any digital device; she creates the pictures using only a pencil, cardboard, and colorful paints.
Chanda Kumari, who creates sketches without any training, said during an exclusive interview with Local18 that she has been painting since childhood. I have never felt the need to receive any training from anywhere. I used to draw on drawing paper after seeing it in books and then paint on it. Now, I can just look at someone’s face and recreate it accurately. She mentioned that it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to create a full-face portrait of a person. People who see her work often assume that the picture has been created using a digital machine.
