**Chhath Mahaparv**
Today is the third day of Chaitra Chhath. On Chaitra Shukla Shashthi, in the Ardha Nakshatra, the first arghya will be offered to the setting sun in the evening. Similarly, on the Saptami date, that is, Monday, arghya will be offered to the rising sun in the Punarvasu Nakshatra. After this, the devotees will conclude their fast. In this four-day festival, devotees worship Lord Suryanarayan for the long life of their children. The worship of Chhathi Maiya and Surya Dev is also a tradition in Chaitra. This year, Chaitra Chhath began with Nahay Khay on April 12 and will conclude with offering arghya to the rising sun on April 15.
