International Zero Waste Day Celebrated at KB College in Kathara Jarangdih

The International Zero Waste Day was celebrated on Saturday with a cleanliness campaign program organized at KB College in Kathara Jarangdih. The program was chaired by Principal Dr. Lakshmi Narayan and conducted by program officer Dr. Prabhakar Kumar. Volunteers conducted cleanliness campaigns inside and outside the college premises, collecting and disposing of polythene, plastics, and other waste. They also raised awareness about the harmful effects of plastic through slogans, posters, and rangoli.

Principal Emphasizes the Importance of a Plastic-Free India

Principal Dr. Lakshmi Narayan highlighted the need to make the positive thinking of Plastic Free India and Clean Green India meaningful. The event was attended by Professor Incharge Prof. Gopal Prajapati, Dr. Arun Kumar Ray Mahato, Dr. R.P. Singh, Dr. Sajan Bharti, Prof. P.P. Kushwaha, Ravi Kumar Das, Mo. Sajid, and many others.

Emphasis on Sustainable Practices and Environmental Awareness

The event aimed at promoting sustainable practices and raising awareness about environmental issues among the students and volunteers. By actively participating in the cleanliness campaign and spreading awareness about the adverse effects of plastic, the participants contributed towards a cleaner and greener environment.

केबी कॉलेज में अंतरराष्ट्रीय शून्य अपशिष्ट दिवस पर स्वच्छता अभियान कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। प्राचार्य डॉ.लक्ष्मी नारायण व संचालन कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी डॉ.प्रभाकर कुमार ने किया। स्वयं सेवकों ने पॉलीथिन और प्लास्टिक के साथ अन्य अपशिष्ट एकत्र कर नष्ट किया और प्लास्टिक के दुष्प्रभाव के बारे में जागरूकी दी। प्राचार्य ने बताया कि प्लास्टिक मुक्त भारत एवं क्लीन भारत के सकारात्मक सोच को सार्थक करना है।
