**Indira Kumar gets Congratulations from Everyone**

Indira Kumar, a resident of the Mahadalit basti in the Dube Tola village in the Parihar block area of Sitamarhi district in Bihar, is the first girl to pass the Intermediate exam after completing her Matric. She passed the Intermediate exam with a first division. Indira was inspired by the ‘Save Childhood Movement’ and decided to eliminate illiteracy from the Mahadalit basti of Dube Tola. Now, everyone is praising her dedication as a member of the Child Protection Committee.

**Everyone Congratulates Indira**

After the exam results were announced, the villagers congratulated Indira Kumar under the guidance of her teacher Chandan Manjhi. Indira Kumar credits her success to her parents, teacher Chandan Manjhi, and the Save Childhood Movement. Chandan Manjhi, the first graduate youth and member of the Child Protection Committee in the Mahadalit basti, says that Indira passing her exams has made history in the village, a result of tireless efforts.

**Raises Awareness for Girls’ Education in the Village**

According to reports, Indira Kumar’s father Mahesh Manjhi works as a laborer in Tamil Nadu, while her mother, Nirmala Devi, is a homemaker. Indira is the eldest among her two brothers and one sister. What’s special is that Indira Kumar is a member of the Child Protection Committee formed by the Save Childhood Movement. She raises awareness for girls’ education in her village, inspiring other parents to educate their daughters.
