Opposition from Villagers

After winning the election, JDU MP Chandreshwar Prasad faced opposition from villagers when he visited a village in Mohra block of Gaya district in Bihar. The villagers expressed their dissatisfaction with the MP, stating that he had not addressed their issues after winning the election. They accused him of only focusing on increasing his salary and perks without paying attention to the problems faced by the people in the region.

Police Atrocities and Lack of Development

The villagers highlighted the issue of police atrocities in the Mohra block area, where people are forced to live in fear. They mentioned that police crackdowns on selling gravel from local mines have made it difficult for them to build homes. The lack of development and the MP’s alleged neglect of the area’s issues have further fueled the villagers’ discontent.

Public Backlash and Political Fallout

The incident led to a political fallout, with local residents expressing their frustration with the MP’s lack of action. The villagers, who had supported the MP in previous elections, now seem determined to vote for the right candidate who addresses their concerns. This backlash has put pressure on the MP, leading to his early departure from the village after facing strong opposition. Despite being fielded by JDU for the second time, the MP’s actions have caused a rift with the villagers, highlighting the importance of addressing public grievances in politics.
