Crime in Maner, Bihar
In a tragic incident in Maner, Bihar, criminals on motorcycles shot and killed an uncle and critically injured his nephew late on Saturday night. Both were rushed to a nearby nursing home for treatment, where the uncle was declared dead by doctors. The nephew is still undergoing treatment in the hospital. The incident has created a tense atmosphere in the entire village. The police suspect that the incident may be related to an old dispute among the parties involved. The police have started investigating the matter at the crime scene.
Returning Home on a Bike
The incident took place as Brahmachari Dev Kumar, aged 45, was returning home on a motorcycle with his nephew Bittu near their village in Maner. As they reached close to their home, the criminals following them started firing multiple shots at them. After the incident, the criminals fled the scene. Upon hearing the gunshots, the local villagers rushed to the spot and informed the Maner police station. The police arrived at the scene and admitted both the injured victims to the hospital, where Dev Kumar succumbed to his injuries while Bittu is still undergoing treatment.
Shot in the Chest
The police officer in charge of the Maner station stated that Dev Kumar was shot in the chest from behind by the criminals. He mentioned that four criminals on two motorcycles followed the uncle and nephew and shot at them. Bittu was hit in the arm and is wounded. When asked about the motive behind the incident, the officer mentioned that they have not been able to gather specific information from the relatives yet, but it is believed that the criminals carried out this attack due to an old dispute. The police are using CCTV footage and other technical investigations to identify the criminals.
