New Prices in Different Cities
After the reduction, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder in Delhi is now Rs 1745.50, in Mumbai it is Rs 1698.50, in Chennai it is Rs 1911, and in Kolkata it is Rs 1859.
No Change in Domestic LPG Prices
There has been no change in the prices of 14.2 kg LPG gas cylinders used in households. The price in Delhi remains Rs 803, for Ujjwala beneficiaries it is Rs 603, in Kolkata it is Rs 829, in Mumbai it is Rs 802.50, and in Chennai it is Rs 818.50.
Government Initiatives
The Central Government recently reduced the price of 14 kg domestic LPG gas cylinders by up to Rs 100, providing relief to consumers. This reduction in prices is due to the fall in global oil prices, making eating out cheaper for many.
