Delays in Allocation of Ministries in Bihar Government
After the formation of the NDA government in Bihar, there was a lot of political turmoil due to delays in the allocation of ministries to ministers. However, on Saturday, Nitish Kumar allocated ministries to his ministers. Santosh Manjhi, the son of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, was sent back to his old department, and independent MLA and minister Sumit Singh also received his previous department. Since then, there has been a discussion about Sumit Singh being upset after receiving the department, and now he has given his response.
Sumit Singh’s Response to Ministry Allocation
Sumit Singh has been given the Department of Science, Technology, and Technical Education. When asked if he was unhappy with the department, he said that he is not unhappy at all. He will assume office tomorrow and carry out his responsibilities diligently. He also mentioned that he is already familiar with the department he previously handled, which will make it easier for him to manage. He emphasized that the distinction between good and bad departments is irrelevant, as all departments can be good as long as the work is done honestly and benefits the public. Such discussions are futile.
Response to Criticism from Jitan Ram Manjhi
Regarding the criticism from Jitan Ram Manjhi, Sumit Singh stated that he does not know what Manjhi is saying and why he is saying it. He mentioned that Manjhi’s son has now been allocated two departments and he must be happy about that. When asked if Manjhi can pose a challenge, Sumit Singh said that no one can challenge them in Bihar as they have a majority. They have around 128 seats, and he claimed that the NDA will win 40 out of 40 seats in Bihar.
बिहार में एनडीए सरकार बनने के बाद मंत्रियों के विभाग बंटवारे में हुई देरी के बाद राजनीतिक हलचल तेज हुई थी। शनिवार को नीतीश कुमार ने अपने मंत्रियों को विभाग आवंटित कर दिया। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री जीतनराम मांझी के बेटे संतोष मांझी को उनके पुराने विभाग में ही भेजा गया और निर्दलीय विधायक और मंत्री सुमित सिंह को भी उनका पुराना विभाग ही मिला। इसके बाद से ही चर्चा है कि सुमित सिंह नाराज हैं, जिसका जवाब अब खुद उन्होंने दिया है। सुमित सिंह को विज्ञान प्रौद्योगिकी एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा का विभाग दिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें नाराजी नहीं है और वह जिम्मेदारी के साथ अपना काम करेंगे। उन्होंने ये भी कहा कि अच्छा विभाग और खराब विभाग की पहचान मैं कर रहा हूं और विभाग संभालने में मुझे सहूलियत होगी। जब उनसे कटाक्ष के बारे में पूछा गया तो उन्होंने कहा कि उन्हें पता नहीं और उन्हें लगता है कि जीतनराम मांझी के बेटे खुश होंगे। उन्होंने दावा किया कि बिहार में एनडीए 40 की 40 सीट जीतेगी।
