Delayed Opening of Biroul Sub-Divisional Hospital
The inauguration of the Biroul Sub-Divisional Hospital under the Biroul sub-division of Darbhanga district has been delayed for almost 2 months. Despite the construction of the hospital building at a cost of 18 crore 35 lakh in the community health center campus of the sub-divisional headquarters for better health facilities, the lock has not been opened for the treatment of patients. The approval for this construction was given by the then Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, and the construction work was completed in 2023.

The delay in opening the Biroul Sub-Divisional Hospital has raised concerns among the residents regarding access to healthcare facilities. With millions of rupees spent on the construction of the hospital building, the community was hopeful for better health services in the area. To protest against the delayed inauguration of the hospital, a banner was put up on December 26 without any departmental approval. दरभंगा जिले के बिरौल अनुमंडल में बिरौल अनुमंडलीय अस्पताल के उद्घाटन के बाद भी मरीजों के उपचार के लिए ताला नहीं खुला है। अनुमंडल मुख्यालय के सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र कैंपस में अनुमंडलीय अस्पताल का निर्माण 18 करोड़ 35 लाख की लागत से हुआ है और तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री जीतन राम मांझी ने इसकी मंजूरी दी है। 2023 में इस भवन का निर्माण कार्य पूरा कर लिया गया है।
